Finding a release

Once you have more than a screenful of releases, the list in the app gives you search and filters.

The search box filters by title. It is the fastest route when you know roughly what a release was called.

Narrow the list by status and by published date range — Published from and Published to. Combine them with search to find, for example, a scheduled release from next month whose title you half remember.

Search and filters sit on the same row above the list.

Each row shows the release’s featured image, title, author, category, published date and status. The thumbnail is the quickest way to tell two similarly titled releases apart; a release with no image shows a placeholder.

The list is ordered by published date, most recent first.

A release dated in the future is in the list like any other, and is the thing people most often think has gone missing. It is not on the storefront yet — that is the scheduling behaviour working as intended.

Filter by date range to see what is queued up.

Search and filtering in the app are for you, and are separate from the search and category filter your visitors see on the storefront listing. Those are configured on the block — see Block settings reference.

Turning off the storefront search box does not affect the admin, and vice versa.

  • Clear every filter — an active published-date range from a previous session is the usual culprit.
  • Check Content → Metaobjects in your Shopify admin, where every release exists as a press_release entry. If it is there but not in the app, contact support.
