Heading
Press releases
The title above the list. Clear it to hide it.
Subheading
Latest news and updates
The line beneath. Clear it to hide it.
Detail page URL
blank
Overrides where cards link to. Leave blank — blank uses the app’s own detail page, which is what you want.
Setting
Default
What it does
Accent colour
blank
Used for the category, the “Read more” link and focus outlines. Blank inherits from your theme, which is usually the better choice. See Theme styling .
Setting
Default
What it does
Hide releases dated in the future
on
Keeps a scheduled release off the storefront until its date arrives. Turning this off makes future-dated releases visible immediately. See Dates and scheduling .

What it does
Show “Read more” on each card
on
The whole card is clickable either way; this adds an explicit link.
Read more text

Reword it — Read the full release, Details.

What it does
Show search box
on
Filters loaded releases by title. Sits in the row beside the heading.
Show category filter
on
Filters by category . Lives in the filter popup.
Show sort order control
on
Lets a visitor switch between most recent and oldest first. Lives in the filter popup, and is hidden automatically when there is only one release.
Sort releases by published date
Most recent first
The order the page arrives in. Oldest first suits an archive read front to back.
Search placeholder
Search by title…
Text inside the empty search box.
All categories label
All categories
The unfiltered entry in the category menu.
No results text
No press releases match your search.
Shown when a search or filter matches nothing.
With only a few releases, turn all three off — controls that filter and reorder six cards add clutter without helping.
Where the controls appear
The search box sits in the row beside your heading. The category filter and the sort order are in a popup behind the filter button next to it, which opens over the page and closes on Escape or a click outside — so the row stays short however many you turn on. The button carries a dot while a category or a non-default order is in effect, since the popup is closed most of the time.
Turn both the category filter and the sort control off and the button goes away with them.

Load the next releases
When the reader presses a button
The alternative, Automatically, as the reader scrolls, reveals the next batch as a visitor reaches the end of the list and hides the button. A browser that can’t detect the end of the list keeps the button.
Items per load
6
Releases shown per batch, 1–20. Also how many search covers before the next batch loads.

Unused while releases load on scroll.

These four colours are real defaults, not inherited
Unlike Accent colour , the button colours ship with actual hex values. On a theme that isn’t blue-and-white they will look out of place until you set them to match. This is the setting most worth changing after install.
Loading on scroll sidesteps this entirely: with the button hidden, its colours never show.

Max width 0 means full width. If your theme already constrains page content, leave it at 0 and let the theme decide — setting both produces a narrower column than you expect.
Use padding for space inside the block’s background, margin for space between it and neighbouring sections.
